Calling All Young People Who Love Liberty & Free Markets

Joe Nichols Feb 07, 2019

“Imagine a fundraising career where you can build philanthropic partnerships that enable greater personal freedom and opportunity for all Americans.”

Do you know a young person who loves liberty and free markets? Are they interested in working to advance those ideals by working for a dynamic and impactful state think tank?

If you do, there is a great opportunity you can share with them—State Policy Network’s Development Apprentice Program is accepting applications and the deadline has been extended to Friday, February 15!

The program was created to prepare talented and ambitious undergraduates, graduate students, and recent graduates for fulfilling careers in nonprofit fundraising and leadership. It consists of:

  • A 10-week internship at a state think tank (and yes, applicants can request to be placed at The Buckeye Institute if they want to work in Ohio);
  • A week-long trip to DC;
  • Professional development workshops; and
  • Mentorship and networking opportunities.

In addition, participants will receive a $4,000 stipend for the summer in addition to a housing voucher!
